CAD Training Under the 1998 Workforce Investment Act

I've just posted a news item about government-funded CAD training under the 1998 Workforce Investment Act (see "Get Uncle Sam to Pay for Your CAD Classes," July 9, 2008).

If you’re a trainer who provides government-funded CAD classes, or a student who has been in such a class, we’d like to hear from you. Please share your experience (good or bad) here.

A few questions:

Are you aware that free or partially funded CAD training is available under the WIA?

How difficult or easy is the application process to become an authorized WIA vendor in your state?

How difficult or easy is it to become eligible to attend a WIA-funded CAD class in your state?
